When it comes to meeting women, most guys feel most comfortable when they are with a group of their friends. Anytime you walk into a bar and look around, you can see that most of the guys there come in groups, and many times pretty large ones at that. What if you don't have a group of guys to hit the bars with? Is it a good idea to go it alone if you want to meet women?

From my view point, I find that the smaller the group is... the better it is for you. Like I said, you can walk into any bar and see that most guys are with their buddies and if there is a woman there, it's usually in a ratio of 1 girl for every 2 or 3 guys. Just looking at it from a mathematical perspective, you are selling yourself short if you go out with a large group of guys.

What about a small group, like one or two others besides yourself?

This set up is usually the best for meeting women just because it looks more like you are out to have a good time with a buddy or two, less like you are there for the pick up. If given the choice, I would much rather have at least one friend along for the ride, sometimes two. However, there are times when it is even better when you ARE by yourself.

Why It Can Be a Good Thing to Be Solo For the Night...

A few years back, I lost my wing man and for a short while, I had the choice of either staying at home for the night or going out by myself. I mean, I knew other guys that could tag along, but they were all the kind of guy who would drag you down if your goal was to meet women.

So, I started to hit the clubs by myself once in a while. What I found was that really, it's not that much different than having a buddy along with you, and in many cases it can be a very good thing. You are more flexible if they want to leave with you. And you are also more likely to get invited to any after club parties if you are by yourself.

Then, there is the added benefit of building yourself up a little more so that going out by yourself is not a big deal. Not many men have the stuff to go out by themselves. And if they do, they end up being that one guy drinking by himself and getting no play whatsoever.

Most of the time I would suggest having a wing man with you, but if you don't have one... by all means, go it alone. You never know what can happen. You can end up meeting a woman and her room mate and wind the night down with the both of them all to yourself. And then, you have a story for the ages.
